If you are an American living in China and haven’t filed your taxes yet, don’t panic – you probably don’t owe anything anyway.
The threshold for tax payment if you are living in China is $92,000 – a figure well above what most are making. However, you should file anyway so the IRS knows you are just living abroad and you aren’t trying to pull a fast one.
